Having sat in both and driven neither, the JT feels bigger. But it's sort of high and tight. That back end changes perception. Rear door is almost vehicle center. What I am saying is not same vehicle, despite same cab dimensions. I got in the back seat in the middle of the truck, not tucked in the back of a jeep. If perception is reality, you just feel like you are in a bigger rig.
The Cabin IS actually larger than a JLU Cabin. from the tiny B pillar to the back ! That is why there is More legroom and the rear seats are Different than the seats in a JLU !

Ok, that makes sense. I'd like to hear from who sat in both with roof on.

I'm 5'11" and with the driver seat in comfortable driving position, I had about 2" between my knees and the back of the driver seat. Sat in gladiator in ATL.

So the roof part- did it make JT feel like you were in JLU?

Me too, but in an imperfect world . . . might have to settle for watching a JL video & a JT video, which might be accomplishable via TFL-Truck ? I'm just gonna wait it out and do that "test" myself . But, for me it just doesn't matter as I don't have a crowd of people gonna ride in either (with me as I drive) ! A JL is gonna be "GOOSED" and a JT gonna most likely have the rear seat removed and "LOUIE'D" (that's my version of being "Goosed" ! "Goosed", as in GOOSE GEAR Flat storage bin system (JL) !
