This is my fourth jeep and I might call it quits.
2022 gladiator rubicon diesel. Light basic mods that almost everyone has.
Im single and just moved to the mountains in Colorado. Need reliability.

jeep dealerships here are pitiful. 1+ month to just look at.. dropped it off with hopes they could look at first chance.. 2 weeks no vehicle, renting is 400 a week plus Uber/good luck finding in mountains.

after Two weeks they said they have it fixed, replaced the throttle cable.
Brought it home and last night doing same thing..

I’ve heard could be auxiliary battery. Heard once this nightmare problem starts it could persist. I hate problems like this. Thinking abt trading in after fixed. Fn $70k jeep plus$18k in mods. Wtf

I will give you 6/10 on the rant. Could have used some more expletives..

Looks like cascading drive related warnings. Without some codes, would just be stabbing guesses. Could be simple as a wheel speed sensor or something with the engine throwing out a code.

I find most problems like this are solvable, just finding someone with the skills that cares and is not hamstring by a flawed dealership warranty work process.

Hopefully it gets sorted for you.

Is it going into limp mode (cutting power)?
Yes it will go into limp mode. 35mph 1st gear only. I’ve pulled the ect fuse before and that worked temporarily.

Yikes, another one. In my case the dealer replaced the DPF. Mine only happened under load, when towing long distance. I've seen many cases, usually driving long distance.

So annoying when a new vehicle has problems like this. Would be one thing if I lived around the block from a dealer that could quickly look at.
Time for a Honda or Toyota

Yea, tell me about it, I was stranded in the middle of nowhere Nebraska with my pregnant wife. The dealer ended up suggesting limping it home instead of waiting a week for parts and repair. It was a brutal drive.

These kinds of stories and my own experience with a long undiagnosed battery issue by my dealer have left me a bit mind f•ck’d. If I ever again get to the point where I can’t trust my JT on trips out of town then I’ll be done with it. So I totally get your frustration.

My dealership is directly across teh street from my house. literally, 200 yards. They have had my jeep 3 times since they told me i needed a new shock (01/23) all day and i get a call 3pm sorry we didn't have your part. Seriously i verbally verified they had the part before even dropping it off. Had to get Jeep involved and last week they decided i will get 4 new Bilstein shock. They couldn't even tell i didnt have alife. I have 0 mechanical mods. now this past weekend my lockers are flashing and telling me my rear locker is engaged in 2H. I am scared to take it in. Granted Mine is relatively minor compared to yours but a 12 year old with an iPad and youtube access can do a better job than dealer tech.

FYI i got the most headway when i emailed the dealership and told them i was going to take a Saturday and sit out front with a sign warning people to not use this deaslership. Less tha 24 hour i got a call form the parts manager.
