Hey all,

I've had 35x12.5x17 on a Rubi Gladiator and the wheels didn't stick out at all. after reading all the posts about 11.5 on a Mojave, may be leaning in that direction.

Can anyone share pics from the front to show how much/if the tires stick out if they are 12.5 or 11.5.

really don't want them to stick out, but if its a little, i guess thats fine.

also, am i correct that the mpg would be better with the 11.5 or too negligible to even consider?

Thanks and looking forward to seeing any response.

Here’s a 315/70 BFG on stock Mojave wheels. They stick out past the fenders maybe 1/4 inch. Or even 1/8th???

Other than possibly being heavier I can’t imagine fuel mileage being noticeably worse from a tire being 8% wider.

exactly what i was looking for. thank you so much

yes...doesn't seem to stick out enough for it to be part of the decision. i had 35x12.5x17 on a rubicon gladiator, but i understand that the mojave has a bit wider. haven't seen 11.5's on one before (probably cause i never looked), but the 12.5's seem a lot more readily available
