I just installed the Rugged Ridge stubby yesterday (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DX9J98I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_sU2.DbW7T9ER9)

so far so good, reception seems the same, no issues to report

Internally they are all pretty much the same no matter what the ad copy says. Just get the one that looks good to you.

on the 13" Rydonair. I have it on mine and no difference in reception from stock antenna. Looks waaaay better also.

I lost a lot of reception on AM and some FM with the cravenspeed stubby. Too short. Replaced with 13" which had reception almost as good as oem.

That’s the antenna that I have, love it, gets great reception. And it does not have to be removed for car washes.

Yep, no loss of reception where I’m at...although I don’t listen to much FM and never AM.
