I took my truck in for its inaugral service and tire rotation. Up until that point, I was hovering around 17mpg on mostly highway, combined mileage. Ever since the service, I have struggled to hit 15mpg. Any quick and easy things to look for? I have to trouble lights at all, and performance seems pretty normal. I know they did flash the computer, as I no longer have the ESS alert on the dash...

Perhaps your tire pressure is down some with the cold weather?

Funny, even with a roof top tent mounted I get 19 MPG.

No, I checked the tires.

The rubi is a little harder on gas, and I had a little dip when I added the winch (more so removed the air dam)

Did they say what caused the ESS alert?

I had one of the defective ESS batteries- that got swapped out a bout 2 months ago. I also had one of the early vehicles that was throwing codes for ESS for an unknown reason. I think it must’ve been a software issue, because they updated the latest software, and it went away.
