its a 21 Tahoe, she has proximity entry etc. She drove the truck to work then shut it off and got out and it honked saying a key was still in the vehicle. the lights on the truck took forever to shut off and she thought it would kill her battery. I tried to search online for this sort of thing but no luck, any ideas?
Obviously i had her check to make sure the spare wasnt in between the seats or something. Im not sure if it will actually start if she leaves her keys in the building or not.
Wondering if it could be an onstar issue or similar?

I would unhook the battery for 30 seconds and see what happens. That is if you're 10000% sure there isn't a spare in the glovebox or something.
