What size bolt is used in the bed for the D ring?

Good question. Mopar sells it as a whole assembly and not just the bolt. Given it is a special shoulder bolt, that is probably why it is not sold separately.
Could take it to Lowes and check it out on their thread size gauge placards in the hardware section.

My response - I get my stock out, walk over to my lathe, and make a shoulder to put on a standard bolt.
Problem solved.
(first I check my stash, sometimes I have bolts that work on hand but I don't have metric shoulder bolts)
Anyway, the shoulder part is easy - some hardware stores even sell spacers and bushings that might work.
If all I needed was the bolt, I'd not buy a MOPAR bolt for that.
