Smittybilt Apollo Slides/Step

Installed the Apollo slides/step on my Gladiator. My Gladiator is Saga Green in color, the step part on the slider is lite gray or white. Was going to level the step color as is but it does not look good, to much contrast. Has any one seen or have painted the step part, if so, what was the color the Jeep and what color did they paint he step insert.
