Smittybilt XRC GEN 2 install on 2021 Mojave

Hi
Has anyone installed a Smittybilt XRC GEN 2 front bumper on a 2021 Gladiator Mojave? I just installed one on mine today and I can’t seem to get the lower plates installed and I was told that the original skid plate that protect the reservoirs would work with the bumper, but I can’t see how it would work without modification.
Please let me know if you have installed and what I’m possible doing wrong

I have one on mine with a Spartacus front bumper

I got it on my Rubicon. I assume I screwed the clip nuts to hell.

What I did was line the holes up the best I could, get the bolts started a bit and then impacted them down. If I take my skid plate off I'll probably have to replace the clip nuts, but it's on and secured.

Another option is to take a drill and elongate the holes on the skid plate until they line up.

Is the only issue with using this Gen 2 bumper on a gladiator with getting the skid plate to fit without any modifications

I tried contacting Smittybilt but got no answer on what on the Xrc gen 2 does not fit on the Gladiator. If it’s just the skid plate I can modify that to fit.

Did y’all ever figure out how to make this bumper work with the Mojave skid plate?

No, unfortunately I didn’t. At the end of the day the amount of area left exposed was minimal and I’m not planning on rock crawling.

Darn! I went and had my skid plate color matched and now can’t figure out how to use it and have my tow points for my Motorhome. I was hoping this bumper would solve both issues. Thank you so much for responding!
