Good plan! Now a real good scan tool could force a regen. You wouldn't need to beg for an extension. Just remember, when clearing codes or disconnecting the battery, you will need to set the readiness monitors all over again.
Yeah, I assume JSCAN will work.

Check your state laws. I forget what they are in Arizona but after a certain amount of attempts you may be able to get some sort of exemption. Be sure to save everything the dealership did to test and document everything you’ve tried to get the vehicle to pass. If the emissions system is not heavily modified there has to be some sort of recourse. If you know of any custom car shops in the area maybe consult with them because they probably deal with this more often than the average car owner.

I'm just going to take it to a dealer here that I've had good experiences with... it's under federal emissions warranty (8yrs/80k) as it only has 40,000 miles and is 5 years old.

I can only get one 90 day exemption in the history of the vehicle per AZ. I *think* the dealer can do a standing regen to get the monitors to ready state. I will do what I can with Jscan/OBDII reader going forward, but yeah... it's a bit odd to me it hasn't activated those sensors. I've driven a ton of 55 mph, and stop/go since it reset to not ready. So maybe it's some kind of sensor/hardware issue at this point. Either way, per that federal emissions warranty, and per Chrysler's own documentation, all of that would be covered.

Vehicle is stock other than suspension.
