Jeep Gladiator custom bed rack and tonneau cover.
The bed rack was custom fabricated from welded (not bolted together) thick wall 1.75” round steel tubes.
Mounts to Jeep Trail Rails with theft proof stainless steel security bolts. Sits on top of the bed rails and was made to lock into the Gladiator’s bed rail-top perimeter to prevent any potential for the rack to slide back/forth.
The rack will accommodate your S-M-L-XL sized soft cover roof top tent. Some of the hard cover RTTs that are shorter in length will also fit. (Note: a roof top tent is NOT included in this sale; however, I do have a new set of theft proof billet aluminum RTT locks available for sale.)
Painted with automotive grade satin black paint. Rack is easy to touch up if needed.
Main tubes are exactly the height of the rear edge of the Jeep’s hardtop. There are no garage clearance issues (with tent off). Results in main tubes being tall enough to not obstruct rearward vision AND most large cargo fits when using the truck bed.
There are 4 side bars that are removable (tubes are capped and welded to not rust inside). Side bars have provisions for mounting two Rotopax containers and a Hi-Lift jack. Could add brackets for traction boards too. (Note: Rotopax, Hi-Lift, and traction boards are NOT included with rack.)
There are custom awning brackets included with the rack capable of mounting 2 awnings to the bedrack. Awning #1 = L or R side and awning #2 = rear. (Note: awnings are NOT included…but one Roam 5’ awning is available if interested.)
The bed rack has 4 light brackets welded to the tubes and included are 4 new LED side lights.
A Rebel OffRoad folding table bracket was fitted to the bed rack. One small heavy duty folding table is included.
A vinyl roll-up tonneau cover integrates with the bed rack and covers the entire bed. Additional support tubes were added so that lightweight cargo can be strapped to the top of the tonneau cover. The cover keeps out 99% of the rain from entering the bed. I’ll also include a brand new tonneau cover front bed wall foam seal.
This rack is over-engineered and will take anything you can throw at it. Unlike cheap generic C-channel, UniStrut, Extruded 80/20 aluminum, or bolt-together only racks this welded rack is VERY stout. Similar in concept to American Expedition Vehicles Jeep JK Brute bed rack. Essentially this doubles as another rollbar over the bed.
Over $1,600 in parts and fabrication costs when new.
