Hi guys,
Just learned that my order was submitted about 36 hours ago. I didn’t realize the dealership was submitting it. We’ve been communicating over email and I still had two changes I wanted to make. I was wanting a phone call or a final confirmation email before it was placed because we were still discussing options. Is it too late to adjust this?

For clarity: I wanted to add the tubular side steps and go with the regular body colored grill (instead of black satin grill).
Thanks.

Talk to your dealer. But to answer your question, yes. I think they have to reach out to their rep once its submitted and scheduled.

Just got word from the dealer that yes all he has to do is contact his rep. Thanks. You were spot on.

See answers above. Can usually make changes up until production starts. Reach out to your dealer.

Can they make changes even after a VIN is assigned?
depends on the mnfr. With Ford and all the bronco debacle people were making changes all over the place since they had so much time to think think think about stuff. Ford only let people change paint colors after a VIN was assigned, and that was a whole process. No idea what Jeep does. Not really a common enough thing for normally produced vehicles to have the knowledgebase to know how they operate.

Why confuse things? He asked about his Gladiator, not a Ford or anything else. Not trying to be a dick, but it's not helpful or productive.

My dealer stated that once a VIN is assigned the order is not changeable. I was trying to determine if anyone else has had a different experience.

Your dealer fibbed. I've had a VIN since 2 days after I ordered. Could have changed any time before it hit D1 and was scheduled. Guess of course my dealer could be fibbing! I didn't test it.
