Mine only charged $125. Wow!
yeah....they said they have to buy the software from jeep, download it into the truck, etc. It was the whole software package and not just doing the speedo. Regardless I passed on it.

Yeah they did the same with mine. Just way cheaper. Haha. It goes over the air to Stellantis, and actually then shows up on your build sheet as a dealer installed option after they do it. But just use jscan. I wouldn't have done it for $350. For $125, it was worth it for me.

I'd do it for $125 too, I should call some other dealers. It wasn't an official quote so maybe the guy didnt know what he was talking about.

Sounds like JScan is the best route for me.

Would any of you JScan users have part numbers or links to the ODBII module and cable you used? Is the cable just an extention from the port to the module?

I understand there may be certain modules that work "better" with JScan than others.

Any other helpful hints would be much appreciated as well.
The, "Best," recommended OBD adapter is the OBDLink MX+, at ~$140. It'll handle all of the JScan functions.
For simpler stuff (like setting LED lights, changing tire size, reading/clearing diagnostic codes,) there are a bunch of adapters recommended. Install the JScan App (free) and check it out.

I have one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Viecar-Bluetooth-Android-Scanner/dp/B0B7HDFSMV/

...that I'll let go at a reasonable price. It works with Android or iOS. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

And the cable is needed to bypass the Security Gateway module on the OBD-II port, so that you can actually make changes.
