Regardless tire dimensions steering stabilizers have virtue. They effectively preload steering components reducing and/or eliminating neutral position free play.
Steering stabilizers however are not without their own set of concerns.
They are relatively fragile and by requisite design are exposed to damage. Bending the cylinder rod whether gas or hydraulic can lock the steering in a fixed position, which can in some instances create a loss of control situation (albeit generally at low speed).
If you are going to use a steering stabilizer make sure it is well protected and inspect it with some regularity to ensure the cylinder rod is not bent.
