Just took my first test drive. While on the highway some guy in an F-150 pulled up beside us and flagged us down just to give us a thumbs up. Pretty amusing.

I drove a black Overlander. It was really nice. The mirrors are a travesty at that size, but I really liked the black and my wife liked it too. I'm way less confident in my color choice now. I do feel like the Sting Gray will look great on the Rubicon, but test driving that Gladiator only made me more confused.

Just got confirmation from my dealer that stingray is good to go! Headed up there this morning to sign the order and get this thing rolling! I’M SO EXCITED!!!

I’m sticking with black seats. I thought about getting tan but just not sure how it will look on stingray without seeing it in person. Plus I like the red dash.

Yes. Dealer said it was required. I was in the fence about it, so I just said add it on.

If I wasn't going with the Rubicon I'd probably get the black seats.

I confirmed through email with a dealer who claims the info is true, sting grey is supposedly available to order.

Question for all you guys, that pricing worksheet that is available on this site, when i get to the bottom and insert my down payment, it recalculates tax based on the new total. Is that true? As in we only get taxed on the amount financed as opposed to the entire cost before down payment? Anyone know for sure?

For sure, it’s not supposed to recalculate and I had posted that to the calculator page. The google docs version doesn’t change the tax amount, but the excel one does. You’re taxed on the full purchase price, regardless of down payment. Trade in is different

Put my order in today as well. They didn't give me a timeframe, but I'm expecting at least 8 weeks. They told me that the front trail cam and bed liner were on restriction, so it's definitely going to be a while. It'll give me time to sell my Highlander.

I checked in with jeep chat this morning to make sure everything was good with my order, still doesn’t seem real I actually ordered the truck in Sting Gray, and they said I’ve moved to “D” status.
