Stripes project, where do I go?

Hey all, I've got a hair brained idea and want to know the pros and cons. The maintenance requirements for this kind of thing

I've seen some cool stuff from pixel decals and L&B Designworks but nothing to the size/level I'm looking at doing.

Here's almost exactly what I want to do with it:

It’s doable remotely if you are handy at installing graphics but otherwise I’d recommend a local wrap shop to execute something like this.

I think I could as long as the stripes were separated from each other. If it was one big wrap, I'd be in trouble.

Add on question to this. How do you care for this kind of stripe? Specifically, how do you wax your paint? Do these vinyls get waxed too?

Sometimes traditional paste wax will get stock at the edges of the vinyl causing a white line - I recommend more modern spray type waxes if you are going to wax over the vinyl.

Is it a good idea to wax the decal itself? Necessary?
