Hey guys, I just installed a Kleinn onboard-air (OBA) and air horn set under my Mojave. :D I was able to get in on their pre-order offer, but I hurt my back at work when it arrived so it sat around a few weeks until I got help installing it over this past weekend. I'm itching to shoot a video of it, but can't until the weekend. Anybody have a request for photos or anything special?

I'm really tickled, I did a DIY OBA system in my last Jeep so using these custom brackets was nice! And the horns are LOUD, way louder than I expected. They do call them "train horns", but I thought it was just marketing. lol... they weren't kidding. I want to do a side by side comparison with a fire truck- I'm honestly not sure which will be louder.

Glad to hear that the horn is super loud. I just watched a video of protesters blocking a road in Texas, and decided that I’m installing one now. Can you provide picks/video of where you placed it? I’d love to see the set up. What is the cost of the kit?

I just searched for it and it looks like they haven't posted it for sale publicly yet. Similar kits for other vehicles are around $1000. The horns are just inside the passenger frame rails under the passenger seat. The compressor and tank are under the passenger seats between the driveshaft and exhaust. I did try doing a video last weekend, I'll work on combining the clips tonight.

So on the horns topic, I bought probably the cheapest horn I could find off "Earth's Giant Lung" , comparable to this:

https://www.amazon.com/Carfka-Compr..._i=B08782LQ1W&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_csi_vtp_8_t

Is it a Nathan AirChime? No. But it has a decent tone, good volume and works well for my needs which is moving around heavy equipment in winter service, need to let the loader know I'm behind him etc.

All of this comes up because nearly every horn I've seen disclaims liability if the horns are mounted underbody but I'm haven't found a good place to mount mine other than the roof bars.

As for hassling pedestrians and traffic in general, distasteful really. No one wants to hear me roll around with zoomie pipes and I surely don't like freaking out pedestrians so I've never really understood the jacked up dickwagen, 6" pipes and train horns thing.
