My MBRP DPF back pipe looks like I pulled it from the bottom of a pond after 20k miles. It seems to be only surface rust but I was wondering if anyone knows of a paint that I can use to suppress further rust while making it look decent. I've used VHT flame-proof but never on parts so downstream plus I don't have an oven large enough to properly cure parts this large. I've got Por-15 lying around but not their high heat product, just the standard stuff.
Has anyone had good results with the high heat rustoleum rattle-can products or is their something else that might work? I can likely prep it down pretty good, just not sure what to try.
Thanks in advance!
