100% I agree with you. to be honest it's more common for the bottom to be used with a switch panel. You can position the arm where the switch can almost sit on the dash. I don't better picture handy but you can kind of see it here.

I may consider going this route because that is where I want my switch panel. Having said that I’d have to check it out and see how low or far away from the grab handle it sits. Things like that turn into little niggling annoyances over time. When it comes time for a switch panel to go in I’ll be looking your way for a solution.

Hi All!

This day has finally come. We launched a grab handle mount for the 24+ Jeep Gladiator.

It has 4 ball mounting locations ( never used simultanously ). This allows for a huge array of mounting options whether you're on the driver side or passenger side.

It also allows for you to mount either on the top or bottom of the grab handle.

If you have any questions feel free to let us know. I'd love to assist.

Check it out here - > Jeep Grab Handle Mount

As always, thank you all for the support!

The more I look at my JT while driving it, and thinking on things I might just see if I can order just the ball mount for the top of the JT's grab handle and move my Tackform short arm and phone mount there, and order a longer arm for use on the right end of the dash rail for my wife to use while riding with me. If it's in the way on the handle when she's driving my truck, 3 seconds would take it off and move it back to the rail ball.

I use this on our newer JL/JTs:

https://www.bulletpointmountingsolu...-wrangler-jl-4xe-gladiator-b-size-1-inch-ball

I went with the 1" ball because that's compatible with RAM mounts, and I have been using those for decades with trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, UTVs, etc so I have a lot of stuff already. But they also offer it in 20mm ball, which looks like it might fit the the Tackform mounts? Obviously the clamp and mount could be moved to the for her. If it's just for the trip, you might want to consider a crab clamp instead. I use one like in the 2nd pic to mount a small mobile GMRS to the grab handle in my UTV so it's easily removable. They make these clamps in different sizes, and also with threaded holes like this or with a ball mount. With one of those, you can move it to whichever Jeep you take on the trip, and remove it when not needed.

LOL - I KNOW - please re-read my statement:
"if those are as nice as those that fit the dash rail" - not asking if they fit but wondering if they were as nice.
They told me they fit, and I was just wondering if they are as nice or good.
And they are actually better......Solid as heck, no bouncy, no vibrations and they stay put.

I may add some of these to my wife's Jeep at some point.
