Tail Light Lens

So, came out of work tonight and saw that my driver's side tail light lens is busted. Lots of assemblies for sale on Amazon, but not just the lens. Does the whole darn thing need to be replaced? If so, I guess it's time for a mod, no reason to just replace the OEM. But I'd prefer to just replace the lens on the one that's broken if that's an option. I'd appreciate any information.

Yeah, I accidentally backed into a branch once and punched a hole in mine.

Got a new one from Amazon for not too much money and simply replaced it. It's pretty much one piece with the different plastic bits-n-pieces plastic welded together.

You’re welcome. I’m running the Wolfstorm ones and haven’t been pleased with them and am planning on replacing them with those. As advertised, the Wolfstorm set do not throw a warning on the dash - but they do throw an error that is detected by Jeeps scanning tool when I go to the dealership for oil changes. YMMV…

Installed them last night. So far, so good. No fault lights or warnings. Like the blacked out look on my blacked out Willys JT.

I’ll see how the ones I ordered and they are coming today look. If I don’t like them I’ll return them and get these. Thanks.
