Went and did the Texas Overland Trail. It is located on central Texas and is quite long. Started around 9ish from Killeen and wrapped up around 6 pm. Some very nice scenery along the way. The route is a mix farm dirt roads with a good bit of low water crossings and some pavement either towards the beginning or end, depending on which end you start.
I did have a problem with Google maps actually getting me to the start point. It kept throwing me in the general direction, even though the route is saved on Google maps. Could just be my inexperience using the app with multiple locations/ points on it, who knows. Once I got to the start point I just used Gaia GPS to navigate the route and it was mostly a breeze.
