Took our 3rd long trip in the Gladiator 600+ miles each way. This time we were NOT towing our 3000+ lbs flats boat. Average speed was between 75-80mph, fuel economy was 20.3 mpg. Thankfully no CELs this trip (we had a flashing CEL PO300 last trip). Overall it was a far more comfortable ride than our 2019 4Runner.
we purchased the 2022 Mojave in May and the majority of the miles so far involved long distance and towing. Quite pleased.
for the record, the best mileage we got out of our 2019 4Runner SR5 4x4 was between 16-17mpg hwy.
