Thoughts on NEW Rugged Ridge XOR front bumper - Any opinions?

Rugged Ridge has this new XOR bumper up on their website and I think Quadratecs as well. Priced at 399.99 with skid plate it and look like nice. Knowing their stuff usually made over seas, I would love to hear some comments. Very interested in reviews on their other bumpers too.
48 inches wide, 5mm thick steel and around 40-50lbs, total combined shipping weight 83lbs.

Agreed...thats certainly something that should be noticed.

I think it looks clean and simple. I am a fan of the winch mount being recessed though. Otherwise, I like it and it includes the skid plate. That is a bonus at that price for sure.

Almost purchased this but ultimately went with the Arcus because I like recessed also. Morris 4x4 is also doing 15% off right now on Rugged bumpers.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I'm surprised by how few photos there are of this bumper, so I thought I'd share a few in case someone is looking and has questions.

Caveat emptor: I installed mine early Sept 2020 from one of the earliest batches. The instructions had some mistakes in them still at that point that they've probably corrected by now, so your experience could be slightly different.

It's actually 46" wide at the widest point, the corners nearest to the grille. It's protrudes about 10" in front of the grille at the farthest point, including the shackle mounts, which is equal to or less than the factory plastic bumper.

The installation was very, very easy with no metal drilling required. Some very light plastic drilling was needed to widen a couple fog light mount holes. You can keep or remove the metal frame side reinforcement brackets, and there's plenty of clearance all around.

This is a great bumper. Light, looks good, great value. 54lbs bumper and 18lbs skid. bracket included for led fogs. Mine is an Sport S, so direct mount for the non-led factory fogs. Very easy install, took me and wifey 3 hrs, more spending taking the fog harness on the stock bumper. Make sure you have a 18mm and 17mm deep socket.
