Was looking at the AFE Momentum intake and came across the package with a throttle body spacer.

made me think, do I know enough about this to spend the extra 100 bucks? No

do I know a forum that could help? of course!

and Please, I don’t want to hear Whether the CAI is a waste or not. This one has a nice sound to it that I enjoy. Strictly looking at whether it makes sense for a TBS.

This is what I know... to get More air through a throttle body is to make it bigger (Ie 75mm to 80mm) and/or port & polish and change the butterfly valve to make it smoother. What I have heard/read that a throttle body spacer is a waste and doesn’t help. But hey I’m no expert but I do read.
Hopefully you get some traction on your thread and get the engine guys to help out.

ive read for years that they are useless. However as a $50ish upgrade i figured why the heck not. I have one...no idea if it does anything other than make me smile to see it.
