Tinting Above Seal

Hey all. Just got my JT tinted yesterday, and while it looks good, I have a couple of concerns. After I picked the truck up, I noticed the tint was cut about a quarter inch above the seal. The Jeep seals are super tight. I’m worried that repeated use of the window will cause the tint to peel.

Additionally, since the tint is darker than it should be (20% as opposed to the legal 28%), the shop will only warranty their work for 2 months.

Wanted to get some opinions from some of you here.

Just because I know I’m gonna get asked. It’s on stands to clean all of the caked up clay I got all over it the day before.

That’s not right I have had a lot of windows tinted and I have never saw one that stops like that I would take it back and you are correct after using the window a lot the tint would come loose

So I just got back. They’re standing behind their work. He extended the warranty for me. They said since it’s ceramic tint- it doesn’t peel as easy. Either way- with the warranty extended I’ll be happier. We almost always have the windows down. So we’ll see how it holds up. Hopefully I’ll be alright.
