So here is my dilemma, I have 3 inch lift with geometry brackets. My gladiator only goes offroad 2 to 3 times a year. Got my core 4x4 adjustable control arms and I'm conflicted. On removing my geometry brackets when installing my arms. I did hit my geometry brackets this weekend no damage just so paint removed. What's your thoughts?

They are an obstacle underneath, I am going with the 2 inch AEV lift and the mopar kit lower control arms. Differing opinions out there but I'm gunna see what it's like without the geos.

The geo brackets will ride better than adjustable arms even with the same caster. I'd keep them and we offroad dozens of times a year. Ran full rockkrawler adjustable arms on our 2019 JLUR. Even with the same 3.5" of lift the 2022 rides so much better with the geo brackets. Flatter arms ride better period.

My advice after having drip brackets on other Jeeps, not on my current Tereflex Overland 3,5” complete lift afj CAs all around no drop brackets.

the ride will always be better with drop brackets and short arms. To get over… ?… yes to get over those obstacles put bigger tires on if you want to off road more without hitting them, or box brace them with a hole to allow water to drain out as well as mud clean out later. The old Rub-icon Express brackets were really strong and hitting them wasn’t a problem. Any tire over 35”es would cover them up on my XJ with proper tire placement. So add a bigger tire just enough to keep them from hitting as often off road.

you should keep them IMOP

The metal cloak brackets are thick steel, I would trust them dragging on rocks all day. Of course the 39s prevent that from happening much.
