I finally got around to building my lift to make my life easier taking the top off my JT Mojave. Now it's 10 minutes or less without any help, lift motor in the attic with remote and unistrut for the frame.

Sweet!! We did the same a couple weeks ago….Hoist with Unistrut trolley. Absolutely LOVE IT!! Quick an easy to take if off and put it back on.

You need to post some picts!! Surely makes it easier to go ‘naked’. 😃

Would this work if you have a Smartcap on it, would it be possible to lift it straight up and out and not bang against the Smartcap?

Yes as long as you get the balance and lifting point set right it will go straight up, I have a 10ft ceiling in my garage and I clear the top of my truck by 1.5ft
