I purchased a set of (5) 2024 Rubicon Wheels for my 2022 Gladiator. How difficult is it to swap the TPMS to the new wheels?

you have to break the bead. Better to have a shop do it unless the new wheels are already broke the bead to remote the sensors for the take offs.

put the spare on, air down teh tire and take it to a shop to see if they will break the bead. just do one at a time. Seating the bead is pretty easy if you have an air compressor.

Your '22 sensors are about half way through their life expectancy.
In the long run it may be better and easier to buy new sensors.
If you sell the old wheels and tires
they may bring more money with sensors in.

You have two options. You could leave your sensors in your stock wheels and just buy 4 new OEM ones for about $120, or you could take your stock wheels to a tire shop, have them dismounted so they can remove the sensors, then remount them without sensors. I choose to buy new OEM sensors and sold my stock wheels and tires with the sensors.

I JUST did the same thing today for my '22 Gladiator...
Is there a way to tell if the Rubicon wheels have a sensor already? I see there were simple green valve stem caps vs the old rims that have black caps with a visible 'spring' or something in the cap...
Of course, I never asked the tire company to check or anything before I had them swap the tires already...

Green valve stem caps usually mean
that the tires were filled with nitrogen to prolong tire life.
Dealers charged for that and it also meant
you had to come back to the dealer to add air pressure.

Atmospheric air is 80% nitrogen to begin with and it's free.
In my opinion, it was a gimmick.

To answer your question, did you have TPMS before?
If so and if the new wheels have TPMS
the Gladiator should be able to see them.

I did indeed have functioning TPMS on the previous wheels.
I'm waiting for response from seller about TPMs - I'm starting to suspect they had them moved to their new tires because they were on a brand new vehicle purchase and changed the tires right away.

If you have the wheels on the truck already, just look at the TPMS screen while it is moving. It will show the pressure for each wheel with a working sensor.
