I'm believe there's already a transmission fluid cooler. There's no room up front to add another without interfering with what's already there. Adding another cooler or filter would require tapping into the existing lines. Doing so could cause warranty issues. The transmission is a sealed unit and not designed for fluid or filter changes. It doesn't even have a method to check the fluid level.Anyone thinking of installing an auxiliary trans cooler and or filter ?
Every transmission is serviceable. The trans fluid level is checked with a scan tool and the fluid is changed by a flush machine, A remote spin on filter on the return line from the cooler should be no problem or cause pressure or flow drop. An aux fan cooler in line with the factory cooler tucked up under the bed some where.I'm believe there's already a transmission fluid cooler. Why - is it running hot? Or just wanting to augment what's there 'just because'?Anyone thinking of installing an auxiliary trans cooler and or filter ?
