I stumbled (somehow) on this guys website. No, I’m not researching ev’s , honestly. Anyway, for anyone interested in tech and old fashioned back yard engineering thrown in with a can-do attitude give it a watch. Gotta say he says a lot of things I think most of us would agree on, such as right to repair, not engineering something just to be different but picking already existing market proven stuff, both for speed and also ease of repair.
He’s basically building a diesel-hybrid drivetrain and also building the logging truck chassis to put it in. The same hybrid design that trains are using and the upcoming Ramcharger. He’s moved pretty damn fast.
I thought it was very interesting and thought some here would apprecite it too.
