Anyone have any experience with using a company to transport their vehicle from the dealership to their home?
I live out in NJ. I originally wanted to fly out to the dealership but now that may be an issue. Starting looking into a transport service but the ones I have found seem to have poor reviews.

Any references or suggestions is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I just used a transport company to ship my JLU from Maryland to Texas 2 weeks ago. All the contact folks are brokers, and they deal with multiple drivers. Quotes vary widely and quotes that seem to good to be true usually are. We used one of the more reputable and expensive ones, and it was still disappointing (late on pick up and delivery, not very accommodating driver, terrible communication between broker and driver, driver pissed at broker due to modified Jeep despite broker knowing, but at least they honored the quote). PM and I’ll send the name of the broker to you.

Best of luck, it was not the greatest experience but the Jeep got there safe and sound, even if late.

I did a dealer to home run to NJ last fall. Booked 2 weeks ahead, door to door, and it arrived the day after pickup. Paid mid range, but it came clean and on time. Ask the dealer for a quick walkaround video, then take time stamped pics at pickup and delivery. Verify the actual carrier’s MC/DOT and insurance before you OK anything. Open trailer is fine unless weather’s rough or the car’s high value.

I’ve had the smoothest runs with A1AutoTransport, they did door to door with tracking and full insurance. They’ve been around for decades and are BBB accredited, which helped my peace of mind.
