Why doesn’t the screen come on automatically when I get In the Jeep like Most trucks? The word “Jeep” pops up briefly and the screen goes black. I have to turn the radio power button on fir the screen to come on. Also, my phone doesn’t auto connect most of the time. It seems like this feature should be there on a 2020 vehicle.

I think I'd have my dealer look at this. Mine doesn't do any of these things...it boots up everytime and my phone autoconnects. Yours doesn't seem normal...

Thank you....that’s what I needed to know. When I went to the dealership to get my plates, I asked about it and the sales person didn’t know, went and asked someone and came back and said that is how it is. I didn’t believe it

Don't know about the phone issue(s), but I'm running with front tube doors which necessitates disconnecting the electronics that control the uconect to some degree so I have to do the same thing but it hasn't affected phone function...good luck

UConnect turns on if the vehicle is in accessory or run.

That’s the point...it isn’t. It sounds like it should from what you and someone else said. That’s what I need to co firm before I take it to the dealership
