Underbody Storage?

I am wondering if anybody has done any sort of underbody storage for the Gladiator?

My thought is, it would be nice to carry recovery straps, soft shackles, winch extensions and so on all the time, but it takes up precious cargo space. I was thinking if there was some sneaky place to store this stuff without cluttering up either the cab or the bed.

I am kind of thinking of bolting a steel box of sorts under the truck..... but access would be a problem.

Anybody have any creative solutions?

I guess it depends on what exactly you use your JT for. I can think of too many ways that keeping all my recovery gear under the bed would be a bad idea and could prevent me from getting them when I need them. Unless you plan on cutting a hole in the bed to be able to access all the stuff I don't see how that would be a practical location to keep them.

Be careful where you put storage boxes underneath the truck. AVOID any areas near or around the Axles & suspension..... due to suspension travel / movement.
