Hello to all! I just wanted to update my experience/impression on my Goodyear MT 315/70r17 ( Bronco ) tires. I have put 8,500 miles on these tires and rotated them twice. I am impressed with the wear as after checking with a tread depth gauge they have only wore 1/32nd! The wear pattern is even, but visually it appears they may be crowned a very small amount due to being on a Mojave wheel ( 7.5 " ).
I spoke with the owner of a 2020 Bronco 4dr with the same tires today. The original tires have 38,000 miles on them and range from 50-60% wore. The to have an even tread wear but visually look flat as a board across. I believe the Sasquatch wheels are 9" wide. Discount Tire said my 7.5 wide wheel was the minimum width they could mount that tire on. I believe the 9" wheel is optimal.
In closing I am very pleased with the tires for the price that I paid ( $164.00). They have went up a lot since then. They are excellent in even heavy rain. I have been on four trails with multiple water crossing 's, East Tennessee type rock, light mud and lot's of small rocks. I was worried about tire damage due to some very jagged rocks due to the load range C light weight of the carcus ( 52-54lbs) but so far so good.
On road and off they drove/handle well. They do hold small rocks in the tread as others have said, but so do my tennis shoes! I just trained my grandkids to pluck them out!
