So i found myself in an odd spot tire wise. I punctured a sidewall my somehow catching a gutter nail that came out the sidewall just barely. I ended up using the spare to get me by(its a full size spare the same tire as i have. It was new and the other three were about 40%.
I really did not want to buy 3 new tires $$$$(they are wildpeak MT01's from jeep that came on the truck)
I got 3x Falken wildpeak MT01's for 600$ shipped to my door.
Tread depth is 18/32 !!!
so i found United Tires. they sell USED tires. So caveat Emptor...
the prices can vary wildly based on tread depth. I caught a sale on two so i got lucky. Otherwise it would have been almost 750$(still a smoking deal for 3 tires)
if you go this route, understand you need to inspect tires you buy and look for damages when you get them. One tire was 17/32 instead of 18/32 and they refunded me 30$ One tire they sent was the wrong size and they exchanged it and paid for shipping both ways. Make sure you inspect tires when you get them. they will refund partially, or exchange as needed so that is a plus.
With some cleanup these should do nicely!
