Just got off the phone with the service manager....
So, you are correct, the 17" OEM Jeep steel rim is slightly smaller then the stock alloys- that might be throwing the offset off... which would explain variance in travel, and might cause the wobble....
More to follow... hope Jeep has a solution to this...
Did yours come with the ATs or the MTs? The ATs are snow rated.

In Quebec, you have to have extreme snow rated tyres, ie- the Alpine logo or Snow flake imprint on the tyres... The Wildpeaks are not extreme snow rated, the Destination A/T2 are...

Yeah, I saw your location and figured "it's the LAW there" like some other places.

Ahh
I thought you had to get real snow stores to get above severe. What symbol is on the Destinations?

Edit: the Falkens (if AT) are severe rated. I honestly thought you had to get true snow tires to get better than the 3PMSF. Maybe we don't get the severe rated option in the states.

ok, gotta say it, 90MPH and you're worried about a wobble? Hell, you're lucky the entire thing didn't fall apart. Jeeps are governed at 96MPH so you're pushing it's limit every day.
Mine is governed at 110 and I had to hit it outrunning a crazy dude chasing me in a road rage incident. I flashed my high beams at him for driving 65 in the left lane (in a 70 zone) and he brake checked me. I hit the horn and he pulled up beside me and rolled down the window screaming and flicking me off so I flipped him off back and he pulled out a gun. Anyway, my Gladiator was remarkably stable and smooth at 110, even with 285/70/18 Revo 3s, and I was wishing it wasn’t governed because I couldn’t outrun him, but I was able to out drive him and trick him and exited at the last minute when it was too late for him, at 110 mph. I did that while on the phone with 911. I hate when people act like because it’s a Jeep it’s a POS that can’t handle high speed driving if necessary. My Gladiator did remarkably well in a pinch.

Wow. Some people......... I really wish Iowa had the same laws some other states do about driving 30 miles in the left lane when there's nothing stopping 'em from being in the right lane. In fact, around here the right lane is often the faster lane because of that.

Had similar happen YEARS ago, back in the early 80s - at that time I was driving my AMX - no competition, and a last minute maneuver at an exit ramp- I could see him stop on the left shoulder and start to back up but by that time he couldn't have known which way I went due to the hills and curves. People get so angry when you eve hint that maybe they should be driving in the proper lane and not holding up a line of big rigs and cars.

Anyway, yeah, on the speeds these things will handle. I'd never suggest it's good or safe or a suggested speed - but they ARE designed, engineered in such a way that if all else is equal, they need that governor to shut 'em down because physically they are capable. And with my wife in the cab with me - if I even suspected the truck was going to blow apart and cause a disaster, I'd no way try to outrun those storms. I was shocked she was even motioning me to go faster but she fears big storms more than much else, I guess.
The point is - they will do it and will maintain a straight line and won't vibrate your teeth out or disjoint your thumbs while you control wobble if all else is good.
