My sons Wrangler is running the above mentioned leds since unlike mine that came with the oem led lightng group, his Sahara came with halogen fender lights.
We've had these installed for well over a year and a half and had no issues. Done the install myself. If mine hadn't came stock with LEDs I'd even considered them cause I like the smoked tint. We both have tasers, and his was set to LED from halogen after the install and of course I've double checked that it's still set; etc etc. Again no issues for a year and a half.
The problem is all of a sudden only the passenger side fender drl light is out. The side marker and sequential turn is fine. And what's even more weird besides it only being one side, is that both sides work fine if the headlights are turn all the way on and not on "auto" for when the drl's would generally be on. So the light itself works just not on the automatic drl setting for whatever reason.
I haven't torn anything apart yet (PITA), but in doing research prior to, I've heard of other issues not exactly the same as ours here but similar with potential problems related with reading errors through the BCM. In initial troubleshooting we cleared all codes on the taser and still no luck after a reboot and sleep cycles.
This time instead of just clearing all TCMs without checking, I checked the taser to see if it was specifically throwin any BCM codes and it shows 3 shown below. Not sure what any mean or where to go from here before maybe contacting Morimoto support.
