I know factory is something small like 3.5. When I had my lift done it was pushed out to 4.8 iirc but I only had lower adjustables. Now my adjustable uppers are in and I have a lot more to play with. Thinking of asking for 6. What do you all do?

I'm slightly over 6 and happy! I have upper and lower adjustables.

The bigger the tire and more the lift, the mor caster you need. Mine is at 4.5 from the factory and i will be going to 6 when I do the suspension.

6 has been great with 0" lift and 35's. Mopar lift LCA's. I can't see going down from that if I lift in the future, but we do tow a good size trailer. Makes the steering a little "dead" compared to your 4.8.

Specs according to the sheets I have (including when mine was checked) -
4 - 5 5/8

Mine was 4.25 one side, 4.5 the other. That's before I added the .25" longer MOPAR lift lower arms.
My truck sits about 1" higher than a stock Overland comparing it to what a couple of forum members say their stock Overlands sit.

I don't know how that 1" impacted caster since it wasn't measured before I put the other springs and spacers under it.
It could use a bit more but is really quite stable on the highway and tracks pretty true on a FLAT highway with no wind.

yup, since there was not much to adjust
Yeah, unless there are adjustable control arms that have been installed.
Toe, center the wheel, and check other angles. Checking can show issues but sometimes I wonder if they know what they are checking or looking at or why.

I am curious - and I know the answer will vary proportionally in relationship to the amount of "lift" a vehicle has, so I'll ask it this way:
Does anyone know how much that 1/4" (.25") extra length on the MOPAR lower control arms changes caster on a JT with no lift or a lift no more than 2"?
Has anyone gotten before and after numbers?
I got so good with alignments years ago when doing the Chevrolets with shims on the upper control arms I could grab shims and in 1 or 2 times, have the caster right where I wanted it. I did similar for camber. With Ford and AMC with the strut rods, I used to know how many turns of the nut would change caster in degrees.
So I was curious, how much does that extra 1/4" on the MOPAR lift LCA change caster on these, assuming a lift of 2" or less.

i used teraflex’s recommended adjustable lca length corresponding to the lift height.
