Got my 2024 Grill back from the painters earlier in the week. Got it assembled and installed today. Funny, after I got it on, I wasn't sure about the change. 2 hours later and I realize how much I really do like it!
For me, it gives it a more "modern or up-to-date look". I'll hang on to the original, just in case...

Yeah I'm really liking my '24+ grill as well; completely changed the look of the truck

I have those as well and really like them. I wired mine to one of the aux switches since I had one available. I only use it when I actually need it or if some ass hat is on my ass. I had someone behind me the other day going to work with automatic high beam headlights. Every time a car would pass, their lights would go to high, so when that happened I would hit my rear lights and leave them on until another car came by, After about 3 times, they turned the automatic highs off. If I ever need the switch for something else, I can always wire it to the reverse lights. Easy install.
I didn't want to bother with extra wiring especially since i have a tazer. I hit unlock on the key fob 3 times fast, tazer turns the reverse lights turn on

I had plenty of wiring just sitting around so I thought why not. Gave me something to do lol. Just got a tazer myself. Really has some cool features.

I used the plug and play harness, simple
That's the way I went since the OEM LED reverse lights were lack luster at best

Really straining myself today after loosing an hour of sleep ....... I haven't changed it since I picked it up from the dealer; also did the same in the JLUR.

BTW, buy them on Rockauto. No place local ever has them besides the dealer. Oh and the dealer charges $86 to do them .....no shit

Everything I paint on this jeep seems to peel off. I painted my bumper project the following way…automotive etching primer, mopar rattle can paint, automotive clear coat. It comes off with car washes. I clearly am doing something wrong. Something that would probably be obvious to, and make real painters laugh.
scuff with high grit paper, wipe with alcohol(90%), let dry 1 min. Spray several light coats. Let gas’s off 30 mins each coat. Spray several coats of clear same as you did the base color.
I’ve done it this way for years. Never had issues painting vehicles.

generally speaking paint that doesn’t stick is bad prep.

did it ever get ceramic coated? you may need a to use a de-greaser and a paint solvent prior to prep and prime

No. I welded, and grinded, and welded, and grinded. Then cleaned it up, but clearly not well. I used a LJ etching primer, but no dice. It’s on my summer list to pull it, fix it, go down to raw metal, then try again.

Edit: I’d love to get it media blasted.

The bed lights in the 2024 automatically activate with the fob
I also have additional lights I add under my rack that make the bed area daytime at night.
