Accessorized the desert does it panel on the front seat. Split the rear fenders(JCR inners ordered a month ago, supposedly shipped wed and they guaranteed me they would arrive today but didnt. So those will go on last min before Moab migration next week). And made sure all my tire deflators were set to 12 psi. Going on a shakedown trip for a few hours at The Gultches(Our local BOH trail/park) tomorrow. Almost ready to roll next Friday!

Hello Guys and Girls,
I have been wanting to add hood struts to my Gladiator since I got it. I finally ordered these this week and installed them today. It was a very easy install, quality seems good and much better that the factory prop rod. Now I'm on the hunt for a set for my 2025 Toyota Camry which I have not been able to locate yet.

They are nice but when it comes time to do work then that hood on mine gets laid back against the front glass frame

I think that's a common thread here on the forum. I like to say that I'm being meticulous.

Take that times 100..............
It took me a whole day to properly block the hood on my car for painting. I did it over and over.......
I replated the rear axle u-bolts and basically all fasteners on my car. The underside has been scrubbed by hand. The driveshaft was refinished and clear-coated. I plated the pinion yoke and nut.
When I was in the car stereo contests in the 80s, I even made sure the trim screw slots were all lined up the same.

I will take 115 degrees in the desert every day over that nonsense.

I will take 85-90 degrees in the summer & 50-60 @ nite . And lots of rain to cool ya down .

I used to restore my Maytag engines in my apartment, painted outside and then baked the paint in the oven (until it got a bit smelly in there. Only did that one time)
Still, I had a table setup and did a lot of work in there.
Never did it in my underwear, though.
I ordered parts from a guy out east and they'd arrive by UPS in heavy boxes. Since I wasn't usually home at the time, the UPS guy dropped them off with the girl next door. I'd go to collect them. When I finally got up the nerve to ask her out, she said for weeks she wondered what in the world I was getting in those boxes and thought maybe it was drugs or something.

As far as the sandals - if you've ever walked over there, and there's a ton of walking and the ground is really uneven, hilly, lot's of stone stairways and walkways, you appreciate the best footwear that's cool and comfy.
