What's wrong with my VIN?

I can't seem to find a comprehensive decoder for the VIN. I tried using the tracker and it comes back as a 2-door Sahara.

From the dealer: 1C6JHTBG8LI143852

I'm pretty sure that "LI" should be "LL" since I think all gladiators are made in same factory. When I switch the "i" for an "L" it returns back as a 2-door sahara. I've tried external VIN decoder websites and they often return a Ram vehicle.

I've asked them to confirm, but was told it was accurate. What gives?

Tracker may not be synced with all VINs and may need updated. It had problems initially where all JTs showed as Wranglers. Ask @Yakpimp, since he created the tracker.

Thanks for the response. I learned about Jeep chat and confirmed my car is in D1 status and indeed it is LL.
