If you had one perfect day to hit the trails, where would you go? What's on the itinerary, and what gear is absolutely coming with you? Recovery gear, camp setup, lights, fridge, camera gear...whatever you consider a must-have.

Anywhere in the mountains with a view. I also appreciate it when the dust is down so I'm not eating it all day, lol. I always take too much and never use 10% of it. I take recovery gear, tools, snacks, my GoPro, my drone, a battery bank, and a get-home bag of stuff.

Here is a short from last weekend. It was a beautiful day but decided to rain for about 20 minutes.

We have been on several amazing trips, from camping in Colorado to spending a week in Moab, staying in a VRBO at night and wheeling during the day with great friends. Hands down the best trip was my recent Rubicon trip. My 74yo father, my 28yo son, my 4 yo grandson, and my son in law all spent 2 days on the trail. Fishing, camping, telling stories. The gear doesn't matter, the trail doesn't matter. It's the experience. Muddy trails in Tennessee, desert trails in Arizona, slickrock in Moab, loose rock in Texas, granite in California. All fun, all worth it. Live the adventure, stay prepared.

My perfect day is getting back to camp/motel without breakage/damage. My next perfect day is getting back to camp/motel. Just ran the Rubicon and Fordyce, in my JK but we did have a JT on the Rubicon. I would not recommend a JT on Fordyce
