I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator and am loving it so far. The previous owner put on what I think are 2018 Wrangler Rubicon take offs on some 33" tires. The tires and wheels are both in really good shape and work for what I want to do at the moment. I'd rather invest in a AEV dualsport lift, bumper, bed rack, ect. So my question is, has anyone found a vinyl overlay for this specific wheel. I want to run them for a while but I cant stand the look of the silver pockets. I have found nothing online regarding anyone blacking out these wheels.

Thanks!

You wouldn't want vinyl, it'd peel off too easily from a wheel. You could do a plastidip, hydrodip, or have them powdercoated...

For changing the wheel color: Plasti-dip works, just make sure you keep the cans hot, sitting in a bucket of hot water. Weather needs to be warm too if outside. If inside, 70 degrees is a good temp, still, though, keep the cans in a bucket of warm water, sprays better.

I did Plasti-dip on my old Land Cruiser J60, no complaints with it. For my JTR I went with the factory spare wheel steelies and had them powder coated. Not cheap but way better than the Plasti-dip
