You seem to be like my wife. She’s been disabled for about 15 years, has a lot of medical issues, and takes a lot of meds. The similarities are in that, whatever side effects are possible, she will have them. We have to be very careful, and weigh out the possible effects anytime she has a procedure or changes meds. I truly hope everything settles down for you and your wife soon.

As you know. The wifey has the DBS probes on both sides of her head for the Parkinson's. She has none of the side effects. You on the other hand, seem to have them all.
Yes. And that's how my mother and I always reacted to meds as well. If there's a side effect she got it. I bite it goes along with ADHD. My son and I drink a cup of coffee before bed to wind down and relax. He calms with energy drinks.

That's me, and how my mother was when she was alive. Deeper reading shows a connection between these effects and ADHD. Brain chemistry and wiring is very different. Took the family doctor several months to get me back in proper order after another told me to stop the gabapentin. What a mess that was. Still have effects from that almost 2 years later. I do not like the personality altering effects of DBS.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent struggles. I have been busy traveling and working on projects with the kids. I haven't had much computer/ phone time lately.

Best of wishes for you and your wife and a speedy recovery.
