So as I continue building out my rig with the ultimate goal of creating a camping/getting away from the city rig I have a small dilemma.
When I do go wheeling it’s typically overgrown trails that cause havoc on my antennas (even with springs) that are mounted on each side of the hood. I found the perfect solution for that…the Teraflex dual antenna mount that sits in the back center of the bed rails. I can have both the GRMS/CB antennas mostly protected and being on center will most likely limit altercations with foliage haha.
But, it seems like it’ll get in the way of most bed racks. So I’m wondering if you guys and gals have found a solution that allows this antenna set up along with a quality bed rack?
1) Preferably a mid height rack
2) Compatible with iKamper Mini Tents
Antenna mount for reference. Still waiting for it to arrive so I can install it.
