Winch mode starts to work and then stops

Title - Scroll to the audio menu page, press left and cruise resume like the Tazer manual says, engine starts to rev and gets to about a grand then it stops and idles normally again. This is in park, with or without the parking brake on. Seatbelt matter, maybe? I pressed a wrong button at one point and it threw up some rando letters and characters. This feature has worked before when I didn’t need it, but wouldn’t work when I was trying to jump another car. Any suggestions? Thanks as always!

All I can tell you about my mini-tazer with respect to winch/air up (very high idle) mode is this. When I set it into this mode it slowly spins up to around 2K rpms. After a few minutes it goes back to idle for about 15 seconds, then it spins back up again. This repeats itself throughout the entire air up process. First time I used it, when it went back to idle I thought the engine had stalled. When I'm done airing up I put the jeep into drive and proceed to my destination. The high idle process stops. Best of luck diagnosing this one.

Well, durn. Sounds like mine isn't the only one that isn't working like it should!

My bet or guess is it's something to contact tazer support about.
I say that because I can control idle speed fine with JSCAN and it stays put until I make a move that causes it to drop to standard hot idle. I can set it to 1200 and it will stay there, 1800 and it will stay there,
