Tazer Winch mode on the diesel?

Backstory, In my previous gas JT, the winch mode on my tazer mini worked fine, now I traded my gas for a diesel, and the winch mode do not work.

It says "winch mode on" in the dash, but rpm doesnt change. Tried to do a full reboot but still not working. Last update I did was back in august.

Any idea?

Don't need the winch to be used. The tazer only rises the rpm

So, from my understanding the Tazer is setup for gas motors. Not sure that you can get the diesel to go into winch mode thru the gateway that the Tazer plugs into. I would ask the folks at Zautomotive if they are working on something for the diesel motors.

Diesels and gas motors are vastly different in how fuel is injected into the motor and the pump pressures are also vastly higher in the diesel. I am guessing here but I would bet that a separate module works the throttle in your diesel. I am not up to speed on how these motors get the signal from the throttle peddle to the pump.

[ That's currently disabled on diesels due to an incompatibility, but it will be reintroduced in a future firmware update.

No Winch Mode a year and a half later. I wonder if they are really “working on it”. If so, they should get a new software engineer. If it’s never going to work, they should just say so.
