Wiring a dash cam to the AUX bundle

Looking at this thread, it seems that there's a battery and ignition connection that would be perfect for a dash cam with an always on/parking mode feature.

Question:
Is the ignition connection always on when the ignition is on OR, does it cut out with the auto start/stop?
If it DOES turn off, is there a better spot to pull 12V when the Jeep is running inside the cab?

The only thing turned off during an ESS event is the engine. All the electronics stay active.

The two hot wires under the dash are the better choice for wiring a dash cam. However, they only exist when the truck has the factory installed AUX Switches.
