I just came back from doing Rim Rocker on Wednesday we went from Moab to Montrose we had a small water crossing, it wasn’t deep but the water was swift. We started Monday afternoon and where in Montrose by 4 pm on Tuesday. Really a great trail to run, I wouldn’t mind doing it again but from Montrose to Moab, so depending on your dates for next year I would be interested in doing it again. You guys come up with estimated days/weeks in 2023 and I'll plan on driving from CA to catch up, make a long trip out of it. I'll block off calendar days, looks like a fun trip! If campgrounds book early, need to reserve or just boondock.

Awesome! Could you post a clearer picture of the map? I’m wondering what the red arrows are showing. Was camping nice? Plenty of spots around?

Out of Moab there is no camping for the first 3.3 miles, there where just a few dispersed camp sites, the only campground was at Buckeye Reservoir about 66 miles east of Moab, very nice . After that there where a lot of nice dispersed camp sites on the way to Montrose. I posted to do a m&g this Saturday somewhere in Tempe or Awatukee waiting for someone to suggest a restaurant since I’m not familiar with the area and if you come I have a great map of RR that I can give you.

If I hadn't already made plans for Page,AZ and White Pocket with my sisters inlaws about that time, I would really like to have tried to make this trip. My Sport S max tow won't be getting any lifts, other than maybe some 33's, which aren't that much bigger than the stock A/T's. I'll watch for another easy to moderate run like this.
