Zeak 13,000 winch install / Rugged Ridge Winch Plate

Hey guys,
I have the stock Rubicon steel front bumper.

I installed a Zeak 13,000 winch using the Rugged Ridge Winch Plate. Everything installed smoothly.
My question is ..... Should the winch rope come straight out through the fairlead or does is sit a touch lower than the bottom of the fairlead?

Basically my winch rope comes from the bottom of the winch then goes up slightly to the fairlead
